Winter found us, yesterday.
Somehow a quiet strip of green and sometimes drizzle has been our recent environmental standard.

Just starting up...
An interesting idea... taking pictures of specific (or satlantic, if you live on the East Coast) snowflakes as they fall. Not only is that a worthless endeavor here because of the speed they're dropping, it turns out that their structure is clumps of many snowflakes, and as they strike each other, explode in miniature white flurries of powder and flakes.
While "pretty" they were also trouble in disguise. (or, trouble in d'skies, if you wish)
Course, it was easier in the night...
It just kept falling...
And kept falling...
I dunno if this is still snow or a close up of a new strain of bacteria...
The snow came in such great soft drifts from the sky that it landed along and on the electric lines untill they finally collapsed, and we were without power for the rest of the night.
(We think they came by around 4 AM and got us turned back on, but...
The line is still laying in the road.

For whom does the bell toll?
It tolls for me, and as I laid dying, gasping for breath, Winter came to an end, they legalized pot, and my stupid little powerball number hit!
