Powerlines were felled , near 75 I heard.
The snow would land ever so gently on a line, build up to a weight surpassing its ability to withstand
(kind'a like Lee playing me chess. I thought I was strong...)
and then...the funniest thing...
Not warm, mind you, but, I'll take what I can get...

And after much running, stocking more wood in the house, starting dinner, washing the dishes, I ended up staying up painting two boring pictures.
and...
But I'm painting another today, so, we'll see if I can pare away the boring part...

Just about the time a person starts feeling smug about their weather is usually about the time changes are impending.
I have found others who have a similar theory about warm eras being followed by a balanced cold era.
However, while that would mke my neck of the woods more like igloos and rubbing noses, it would give your neck of the swoods a pretty snow, follwed by a back breaking shoveling of the driveway to get to a movie on time, slipped off the road, got mud all over your clean clothes as the Mrs tries to drive you out while you push,
lost a shoe, way too late to get to the movie, but, it was prepaid and money lost...
No...
I'm thinking one wouldn't really want to rattle the cage of chance in these cases...
